HB12-1222 Summary

• Recreates the Department of Transportation Renovation Fund in the state treasury to hold remaining balances from the fund that was repealed on July 1, 2007.

• Authorizes continuous appropriation of fund moneys to the Department of Transportation for property renovation and payments under lease-purchase agreements authorized by House Bill 04-1456.

• Requires any interest and income earned by the fund to be credited to the fund, with all unspent moneys remaining in the fund at fiscal year-end rather than reverting to the general fund.

• Permits the State Treasurer to invest unexpended fund moneys as provided by law.

• Fund and this subsection automatically repeal on July 1, 2015.
