HB 12-1341 Summary

• Repeals the Colorado Works Statewide Strategic Use Fund effective April 1, 2013, with unencumbered funds reverting to the Colorado Long-Term Works Reserve by December 30, 2012.

• Repeals the Strategic Allocation Committee effective April 1, 2013, and removes the July 1, 2018 sunset review requirement for the committee.

• Removes references to the statewide strategic use fund from the Colorado Long-Term Works Reserve provisions and family resource center funding statutes.

• Family resource centers can no longer receive funds from the Colorado Works statewide strategic use fund, limiting their funding to direct county disbursements and family issues cash funds.

• Most provisions take effect upon passage, except sections 4 and 5 take effect April 1, 2013.
