Exempts motor vehicles and vehicle-trailer combinations under 26,001 pounds gross vehicle weight rating from commercial vehicle standards under Colorado law.

Exemption applies only to vehicles not operated in interstate commerce, not transporting hazardous materials requiring placarding, and used solely for agricultural purposes.

Exemption does not apply to vehicles transporting 16 or more passengers including the driver, or 8 or more passengers for compensation.

Effective August 8, 2012, subject to referendum petition; requires voter approval at November 2012 election if petition is filed within 90 days of final adjournment.
