Removes the requirement that county departments conduct face-to-face redeterminations of eligibility for assistance units receiving cash assistance under the Colorado Works program.

Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 26-2-709(1.3) to eliminate the "face-to-face" language while maintaining annual redetermination of eligibility.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 7, 2013, if adjournment occurs May 8, 2013), subject to a possible referendum petition.

If a referendum petition is filed, the act will not take effect unless approved by voters at the November 2014 general election.
