Authorizes school district boards of education to adopt written policies allowing employees to carry concealed handguns on school grounds if the employee holds a valid concealed handgun permit.

Authorizes governing boards of charter schools and institute charter schools to adopt similar written policies allowing employee concealed carry on school property.

Permits policies to include additional requirements beyond holding a valid permit, including but not limited to completion of training.

Modifies Colorado's concealed handgun permit law to exempt school district employees carrying pursuant to an adopted policy from the prohibition on carrying firearms on public elementary, middle, junior high, and high school property.

Applies the same exemption to charter school employees carrying pursuant to an adopted board policy.
