State agencies must submit budget requests for the upcoming fiscal year to the Joint Budget Committee by November 1.

State agencies must submit budget request amendments by January 15, except amendments related to supplemental appropriation requests, which must be submitted by January 2.

The Department of Education, Department of Corrections, and Division of Youth Corrections have extended deadlines of January 15 for certain supplemental appropriation requests related to caseload changes.

State agencies may submit requests after applicable deadlines if based on circumstances unknown to and not reasonably foreseeable by the agency prior to the deadline.

The Office of State Planning and Budgeting may submit requests on behalf of state agencies, with the corresponding deadline applying to the office instead.
