• Delays state recovery audits of agencies until July 31, 2017, and then every third year thereafter, instead of the previous July 1 deadline.

• Suspends recovery audits pending inclusion of necessary data in a modernized Colorado financial reporting system.

• Changes reporting deadlines from June 30, 2012 to June 30, 2018, and then every third year thereafter for the state controller to issue summary reports to the general assembly.

• Reduces the office of the state controller budget by $58,064 in personal services (0.8 FTE) and $713 in operating expenses for fiscal year 2013-14.
