Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 12-36-107.2 to modify renewal requirements for distinguished foreign teaching physician licenses.

Changes license renewal standard from requiring the board to determine that conditions specified in subsection (1) to allowing renewal if conditions in subsection (1) OR (2) will continue during the ensuing licensure period.

Allows foreign teaching physicians ranked lower than associate professor to renew their distinguished foreign teaching physician licenses annually.

Applies to license renewal applications filed on or after the effective date of the act.

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
