SB13-208 Summary

• Amends Colorado Revised Statutes section 18-18-430.5 to expand the drug paraphernalia exemption to include participants in approved syringe exchange programs, in addition to employees and volunteers

• Exempts employees, volunteers, and participants in syringe exchange programs created under section 25-1-520, C.R.S. from drug paraphernalia provisions under sections 18-18-425 to 18-18-430

• Declares the act necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety

• Bill was approved by Governor John W. Hickenlooper
