Adds emergency medical service providers to Colorado's list of mandatory reporters for suspected child abuse or neglect under C.R.S. 19-3-304(2)(kk)

Applies to emergency medical service providers as defined in sections 25-3.5-103 (8) and (12) and those certified pursuant to Part 2 of Article 3.5 of Title 25

Takes effect July 1, 2014, subject to referendum petition during the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly

If a referendum petition is filed, the act requires voter approval at the November 2014 general election to take effect

Governor John W. Hickenlooper approved the bill
