HB14-1069: District Commissions On Judicial Performance

• Adds district attorney representatives, state public defender representatives, and local bar association representatives to the list of persons that district commissions on judicial performance must interview during judge evaluations

• Requires district commissions to issue invitations to these new interviewees at least 35 days before the scheduled interview

• Mandates that a majority of district commission members must be present at each interview

• Prohibits substituting written submissions for interviews unless the invited party consents to the substitution
