Exempts continuing professional education (CPE) programs approved by Colorado state professional licensing entities from regulation by the Division of Private Occupational Schools in the Department of Higher Education.

Requires CPE programs to meet requirements for maintaining or renewing a professional license and be approved by the relevant Colorado state professional licensing entity either before or after licensee attendance.

Requires exempted CPE programs to be consistent with the purposes or requirements of the organization providing the program.

Modifies existing exemption for bona fide trade, business, professional, or fraternal organizations to specify education must "primarily benefit" the organization's membership or mission rather than being "solely for" the organization.

Bill was approved by Governor John W. Hickenlooper and declared necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
