• Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 24-34-102 to require directors, licensing boards, or commissions to automatically reinstate expired professional licenses, certificates, and registrations for active military personnel, including National Guard members and reservists on active duty for a minimum of 30 days.

• Active military personnel must meet the requirements of the reinstatement provision to qualify for automatic reinstatement, while expired licenses for all other persons may be reinstated at the discretion of the director, licensing board, or commission.

• Applies to all licenses, certificates, and registrations that expire on or after the effective date of the act.

• Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
