On June 30, 2014, the state treasurer shall transfer $2,175,000 from the general fund to the Department of State Cash Fund to repay a prior transfer.

This transfer reverses a 2009 transfer that moved $2,175,000 from the Department of State Cash Fund to the general fund on April 20, 2009.

Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 24-21-104 regarding fees of the secretary of state.

Repeals the statutory provision effective July 1, 2014, after the repayment transfer is completed.

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
