• Extends the deadline for junior college boards of trustees to select officers from 10 days to 60 days after the close of polls in an election.

• Authorizes the Attorney General to serve as legal advisor to Colorado Mountain College upon request from its board of trustees.

• Grants Colorado Mountain College's board the authority to select and retain separate legal counsel at the board's discretion.

• Applies to elections conducted on or after the effective date of the act.
