Commends Colorado Army National Guard and Air National Guard members for their service assisting with wildfire suppression and flood recovery efforts since 1860.

Recognizes specific firefighting deployments including 14 soldiers at the Black Forest fire on June 11, 2013, and 15 soldiers at the East Peak fire in Huerfano County on June 22, 2013.

Acknowledges Operation Centennial Raging Waters launched September 12, 2013, where 980 National Guard members conducted search and rescue, sandbagging, and security operations following Colorado flooding.

Notes the Colorado National Guard evacuated 3,233 people and 1,300 pets during the 2013 flood recovery operations.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to Governor John Hickenlooper, military leadership, and fire prevention officials.
