Colorado General Assembly applies for a constitutional convention under Article V to propose an amendment requiring federal debt increases to be approved by a majority of state legislatures.

The convention shall be entirely focused on and exclusively limited to proposing the federal debt approval amendment, with no other subject matter permitted.

This application constitutes a continuing application that remains in effect until at least two-thirds of state legislatures have applied for an equivalently limited amendments convention.

Copies of the resolution shall be sent to the U.S. Senate Majority Leader, U.S. House Speaker, Colorado's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures requesting their cooperation.
