SB14-105 Summary

• Eliminates the requirement that portions of water resources fees be transferred from the Water Resources Cash Fund to Colorado's state general fund.

• All fees collected by the state engineer under specified sections of water law (sections 37-90-105, 37-90-107, 37-90-108, 37-90-116, 37-90-137, 37-90.5-106, 37-92-305, 37-92-308, and 37-92-602) are now credited entirely to the Water Resources Cash Fund.

• Previously, certain fee amounts were required to be transferred to the general fund, including $30 from specific well permit fees, $25 from certain well applications, $10 from other applications, and $5 from additional well types.

• Effective date is July 1, 2014.
