SB14-141 Summary

• Suspends the "Voter Access and Modernized Elections Act" (House Bill 13-1303) until January 1, 2016, restoring election laws to their pre-2013 status during the interim period

• Restores election laws as they would have existed absent House Bill 13-1303 from the bill's effective date through December 31, 2015

• House Bill 13-1303 automatically takes effect again on January 1, 2016, and applies to all elections conducted on and after that date

• Does not affect the validity of elections conducted or voter registrations made between the passage of House Bill 13-1303 and this bill's effective date

• Clarifies that other election laws enacted during or after the 2013 legislative session remain in effect and are not suspended by this measure
