SB 14-208 Summary

• Amends Colorado law to allow veterans who have not been dishonorably discharged to have their expired professional licenses, certificates, and registrations automatically reinstated by the director, licensing board, or commission.

• Extends the same reinstatement rights previously available only to active military personnel (including National Guard members and reservists on active duty for a minimum of 30 days) to include all qualifying veterans.

• Applies to all licenses, certificates, and registrations that expire on or after the bill's effective date.

• Declares the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
