Colorado General Assembly applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention of states limited to proposing amendments imposing fiscal restraints on the federal government.

Proposed amendments would limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government and limit the terms of office for federal officials and members of Congress.

Application constitutes a continuing application until legislatures of at least two-thirds of the states have made applications on the same subject.

Copies of the resolution shall be sent to the President, Secretary of the Senate, Speaker and Clerk of the House, Colorado's congressional delegation, and legislative officers in all states requesting their cooperation.
