Designates April 28, 2014, as "First Responder Appreciation Day" in Colorado to honor police, fire, emergency medical services, search and rescue, and other public safety personnel.

Recognizes first responders as vital community members who risk their safety daily, provide 24-hour emergency response, and volunteer in schools and community organizations.

Notes that governors of Illinois, Oregon, Kentucky, and Wisconsin have previously designated September 27 as First Responders Appreciation Day, and Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, has also celebrated this observance.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to over 80 first responder organizations, agencies, and individual first responders across Colorado and select national representatives.
