• Authorizes Colorado Department of Revenue to issue firefighter license plates for motorcycles, passenger cars, trucks, and noncommercial or recreational motor vehicles not exceeding 16,000 pounds empty weight.

• Appropriates $4,120 to the Department of Revenue from the Colorado state titling and registration account in the highway users tax fund for information technology services.

• Appropriates $4,120 to the Office of the Governor's Office of Information Technology to provide IT services for the Department of Revenue.

• Takes effect August 5, 2015, or upon approval by voters in November 2016 if a referendum petition is filed, and applies to license plate applications made on or after January 1, 2016.
