Repeals Colorado Revised Statutes 22-32-109.1(5), which required each local board of education to adopt a policy requiring annual school building inspections.

Eliminates the mandatory policy requirement addressing removal of hazards, vandalism, and other barriers to safety and supervision in school buildings.

Becomes effective 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 5, 2015, if adjournment occurs May 6, 2015).

Subject to referendum petition under Colorado Constitution Article V, Section 1(3); if petitioned, requires voter approval at the November 2016 general election to take effect.
