Adds definition of "signature" or "signed" in Colorado law to include electronic signatures as defined in the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (Section 24-71.3-102(8)), unless the constituent document specifies otherwise.

Adds definition of "writing" or "written" in Colorado law to include electronic records as defined in the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (Section 24-71.3-102(7)), unless the constituent document specifies otherwise.

Applies to signatures and writings made on or after the effective date of the act.

Takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 5, 2015, if adjournment sine die is on May 6, 2015), subject to referendum petition procedures.
