Removes the statutory prohibition that prevented hospitals from including the hospital provider fee amount on patient billing statements.

Requires hospitals to include the amount of the provider fee as a separate line item in billing statements to patients.

Amends Colorado Revised Statutes section 25.5-4-402.3(3)(f) to change the requirement from "shall not include any" to "THE amount of the provider fee."

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
