Expands scope of practice for certified nurse aides (CNAs) to include digital stimulation, suppository insertion, enema use, or other medically acceptable procedures to stimulate bowel movements, provided the CNA is deemed competent by a registered nurse.

Authorizes CNAs deemed competent by a registered nurse to perform gastrostomy-tube and jejunostomy-tube feedings.

Permits CNAs to place presorted medication in a client's mouth when the medication has been boxed or packaged by a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or pharmacist.

Requires the Colorado nursing board to promulgate rules establishing competency requirements for CNAs to perform these expanded tasks.

Exempts registered nurses from liability for actions of CNAs performing these tasks when the nurse has in good faith determined the CNA is competent, and specifies these duties are not considered nursing task delegation under existing law.
