• Enacts the 2008 amendments to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA), expanding Colorado's child support laws to include foreign countries and international support proceedings.

• Adds comprehensive definitions and procedures for foreign support orders, foreign tribunals, and foreign countries that have reciprocal child support arrangements with Colorado or meet specific international standards.

• Establishes a new Part 7 creating a framework for support proceedings under the 2007 Hague Convention on International Recovery of Child Support, including recognition, enforcement, and modification of foreign support orders.

• Modifies jurisdiction and modification rules to allow Colorado courts to handle support cases involving foreign countries, including provisions allowing modification of foreign child support orders when the obligee resides in a foreign country under specific circumstances.

• Applies to all proceedings begun on or after July 1, 2015, for establishing support orders, determining parentage, or registering and enforcing prior support orders regardless of when they were issued.
