• House of Representatives approves Speaker Hullinghorst's appointment of Rosemary Marshall to the Independent Ethics Commission for a four-year term from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2019.

• Rosemary Marshall, a Denver native and Democrat, previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives representing House District 8 from 2001 through 2008.

• Marshall was initially appointed to the Commission in 2013 to fill a vacancy and has demonstrated diplomacy, dedication, integrity, and professionalism during her service.

• Marshall served on the House Committee on Ethics in 2006 and sponsored ethics legislation including Senate Bill 07-210 implementing article XXIX of the state constitution.

• Copies of the resolution shall be sent to members of the Independent Ethics Commission and Executive Director Amy DeVan.
