SB15-100 Summary

• Postpones expiration of rules and regulations adopted or amended between November 1, 2013 and November 1, 2014 for 16 state departments and other entities, extending their expiration date from May 15, 2015.

• Exempts specific rules from extension across multiple departments, including parole procedures, educator licensing, oil and gas enforcement, medical marijuana regulations, and election administration rules.

• Repeals Rule 7.000.3 of the state board of human services concerning child welfare services exceptions, which was adopted November 7, 2014.

• Takes effect May 15, 2015 for Section 1 and upon passage for Sections 2, 3, and 4, implementing recommendations from the Committee on Legal Services for legislative review of state agency rules.
