Repeals the July 1, 2015 sunset date for the Colorado Securities Board and extends its termination date to September 1, 2026.

Implements recommendations from the 2014 sunset report by the Department of Regulatory Agencies regarding continuation of the Securities Board.

Removes obsolete language regarding initial member appointment dates and terms that began in 1995.

Maintains the requirement that Securities Board members serve three-year terms and cannot serve more than two consecutive terms.

Declares the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
