Submits a constitutional amendment to Colorado voters on the November 8, 2016 ballot to repeal the requirement that each county elect a county surveyor.

Changes Colorado Constitution Article XIV, Section 8 to make county surveyors optional rather than mandatory, allowing each county to decide whether to have a surveyor at its discretion.

Grants each county the power to determine whether to elect or appoint a county surveyor and to set the surveyor's salary and term of office through county ordinance.

Amendment becomes part of the state constitution if a majority of voters voting on the ballot title vote "Yes/For".
