Designates January 23, 2015, as "Colorado 4-H Day" to recognize the 4-H program's contributions to Colorado youth development.

Colorado 4-H serves more than 100,000 youth with guidance from nearly 10,000 adult and youth volunteer leaders in areas including workforce preparation, leadership, agriculture, nutrition, and public speaking.

4-H returns $45 million annually to the Colorado economy plus $31 million in added volunteer value, resulting in a ten-fold return on investment over program costs.

Tufts University research demonstrates 4-H members are less likely to engage in risky behaviors, twice as likely to attend college, three times more likely to delay sexual activity, and three times more likely to contribute to their communities compared to non-members.

Participation in Colorado 4-H is open to youth ages 5 to 19 from all economic, social, and cultural backgrounds.
