Designates September 27, 2015, as "First Responder Appreciation Day" in Colorado to honor police, firefighters, emergency medical services, search and rescue, and other public safety personnel.

Recognizes first responders as vital community members who risk their safety daily, serve 24 hours a day, and volunteer in schools and community organizations.

Joins 20 other states (Alabama, Alaska, Delaware, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming) in observing September 27 as First Responder Appreciation Day.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to numerous Colorado first responder organizations, agencies, and individual first responders, including police departments, fire departments, sheriff's offices, emergency medical services, and families of fallen officers.
