Acknowledges the Space Foundation, founded in 1983 and headquartered in Colorado Springs, as a global nonprofit leader in space awareness and education.

Notes that Colorado hosts the U.S. Air Force Space Command and more than 300 aerospace companies and suppliers for commercial, military, and civil space activities.

Highlights that the Space Symposium generates approximately $30 million in annual economic impact to the local economy and has grown from 250 participants in 1984 to over 11,000 in recent years.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to Governor John Hickenlooper, the Space Foundation CEO, and Colorado's Congressional delegation.
