Expands the right to use deadly force against an intruder to include owners, managers, and employees of businesses, in addition to dwelling occupants.

Allows use of deadly physical force when an unlawful entry occurs and the person reasonably believes the intruder has committed or intends to commit a crime beyond the unlawful entry, or might use any physical force against occupants.

Grants immunity from criminal prosecution to dwelling occupants and business owners, managers, or employees who use physical or deadly force in accordance with these provisions.

Grants immunity from civil liability for injuries or death resulting from the use of such force under these provisions.

Amends the premises defense statute to cross-reference the new deadly force authorization for business intruders in section 18-1-704.5.
