CO HB1111

Requires voters registering to vote less than 29 days before or on election day to provide a form of photo identification with their registration.

Accepts nine enumerated forms of photo identification including Colorado driver's license, U.S. passport, military ID, student ID from Colorado institutions of higher education, and tribal government ID.

Applies to any election conducted on or after the official declaration of the vote by proclamation of the governor.

Requires submission to Colorado voters for approval or rejection as a referendum measure on the November 8, 2016 election ballot.

Becomes part of Colorado Revised Statutes only if a majority of voters voting on the measure vote "Yes/For."
