• Prohibits governmental entities from issuing traffic citations based on evidence from automated vehicle identification systems on any highways, roads, or streets.

• Prohibits evidence obtained from automated vehicle identification systems from being reported to the Department of Motor Vehicles, credit reporting agencies, or insurance companies.

• Repeals provisions that allowed the Department of Public Safety to detect speeding violations in highway maintenance, repair, or construction zones using automated systems.

• Repeals related statutes that referenced automated vehicle identification system violations in driver's license suspension and vehicle registration requirements.
