CO HB1157

Establishes a sunset date of September 1, 2021 for the Michael Skolnik Medical Transparency Act of 2010 and the Director of the Division of Professions and Occupations' administration of it.

Requires the Department of Regulatory Agencies to conduct a review of the program's functions prior to the September 1, 2021 repeal date, as provided in section 24-34-104.

Adds the medical transparency act administration to the list of agencies and functions subject to termination, continuation, or reestablishment under the General Assembly's regulatory review process.

Takes effect on August 10, 2016, or 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, unless a referendum petition is filed and disapproved by voters at the November 2016 general election.
