CDOT may enforce parking fines at department parking facilities for motor vehicles left in short-term parking spots for more than 24 hours.

CDOT must post warning signs at all entrances and exits for at least 90 days before enforcing any parking prohibition or penalty, and signs must remain posted as long as the prohibition is in effect.

Penalty structure for rule violations: warning for first offense, $20 for second offense, $50 for third offense, and $100 for all subsequent offenses, with vehicle owners receiving written notice and the right to request a hearing within 14 days.

CDOT may set aside up to 15% of spaces for reserved parking and can prohibit parking by those not using accessible mass transit from the facility.

Motor vehicles with assessed penalties left unattended for more than 4 days are considered abandoned vehicles subject to removal and disposal laws; CDOT may inspect motor vehicle registration databases for enforcement and must consult with local governments on parking facility coordination.
