Applicants must pass the driving test administered by the private vendor within 60 days after their initial failed attempt.

Applicants must fulfill all other driver's license requirements before using the private vendor option, including written tests and documentation.

After passing the private vendor test, applicants can reopen their driver's license application at any authorized office and must present evidence of passing the test to receive their license.

The "driving test" is defined as a demonstration of ordinary and reasonable care in the operation of a motor vehicle in accordance with existing statute.
