Department of Personnel executive director shall convene a procurement code working group to meet during the interim following the 2nd regular session of the 70th General Assembly to study ways to improve the state's procurement code.

Working group shall solicit input from subject-matter experts including vendors, business organizations, nonprofit organizations, labor organizations, taxpayer advocacy organizations, legal professionals, and state employees with procurement code expertise.

Working group shall conduct its work within existing departmental resources and submit recommendations for procurement code modifications to the General Assembly on or before December 31, 2016.

Part 5 of the statute creating the working group is repealed effective July 1, 2017, automatically terminating the group after its work is complete.
