Remember and honor Major Phyllis Joy Pelky, age 45, and all Coloradans who died in service during Operation Freedom's Sentinel, Operation Inherent Resolve, Operation New Dawn, Operation Enduring Freedom, and the Global War on Terrorism

Major Pelky, from Rio Rancho, New Mexico, made the ultimate sacrifice in October 2015 while serving as an assistant professor of German at the United States Air Force Academy and as Aide-de-Camp to the Academy Superintendent

Acknowledge thousands of Colorado military personnel who have served in these operations, including troops from Fort Carson, the United States Air Force Academy, Peterson Air Force Base, and Buckley Air Force Base, as well as members of the Colorado National Guard, Army Reserve, and Marine Corps Reserve
