Reappoints Dianne E. Ray to the position of State Auditor for a five-year term commencing July 1, 2016, and ending June 30, 2021.

Requires appointment by majority vote of members serving in each house of the Colorado General Assembly, as provided by Section 49 of Article V of the Colorado Constitution.

Ms. Ray previously served as State Auditor from July 1, 2011, through June 30, 2016, and demonstrated outstanding leadership in conducting complex financial and performance audits.

The Legislative Audit Committee voted on March 8, 2016, to submit Ms. Ray's name for reappointment, and the Executive Committee of the Legislative Council concurred in the reappointment.

Ms. Ray received recognition including the 2015 Leo Riethmayer Award as Top Public Administrator in Colorado and served as President of the National State Auditors Association for the 2015-16 term.
