For goods and services unavailable from Colorado sources, the state encourages purchasing from U.S.-based companies, farmers, and workers instead of foreign-sourced products.

Resolution cites Colorado's loss of approximately 25,000 manufacturing jobs between 1994 and 2015 due to overseas competition and emphasizes benefits of domestic manufacturing including job creation, environmental protection, and fair labor standards.

Copies of the resolution are directed to be sent to Governor John Hickenlooper, Colorado's Congressional delegation, President Barack Obama, Pueblo County Commissioner, Pueblo City Council, and the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce.
