April Jones serves a term commencing upon House approval and ending June 30, 2019, succeeding Rosemary Marshall whose term ended June 30, 2015.

Jones is a licensed Colorado attorney specializing in family law in Greenwood Village and is designated as an unaffiliated elector.

Jones has extensive legal community involvement including appointments as a Colorado Supreme Court Nomination Commissioner, State Board of Marriage and Family Therapists member, and board memberships with Colorado Legal Services, Kempe Foundation, and American Transplant Foundation.

Jones serves as current Vice President of the Sam Cary Bar Association and has held leadership positions including Diversity Chairperson for Arapahoe County Bar Association and past executive board member of Colorado Women's Bar Association.
