Requires retail food establishment licensees to post a public health notice on the front door or main entrance if they do not provide employees with a minimum of 5 days of paid sick leave per year.

The notice must be in large, bold-faced type, include the department logo, and state that the establishment does not provide employees enough paid time off when sick and customers may face increased risk of exposure to communicable illnesses.

First violation within 24 months results in a written warning; second violation incurs a $50 fine; third violation incurs a $100 fine; fourth violation incurs a $250 fine; and fifth or subsequent violations incur a fine between $250 and $1,000.

Penalties apply in addition to any other applicable penalties under existing food establishment licensing law.

Establishes this requirement as necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
