Commends a precedent-setting state burial protocol established by the Ute Tribes, History Colorado Center, and Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs for handling Native American human remains with cultural sensitivity

Commits Colorado to maintaining strong, respectful government-to-government relations with the sovereign Ute Indian nations and supporting their efforts in public safety, education, health care, and economic development
