Designates September 27, 2016, as "First Responder Appreciation Day" in Colorado, joining 26 other states that observe this date.

Recognizes and honors specific first responders who performed heroic actions or went above and beyond the call of duty, including paramedics, fire chiefs, police officers, and emergency medical services personnel from departments across Colorado.

Honors seven first responders who died in the line of duty in 2016, including deputies, state patrol troopers, and university police officers from various Colorado counties and agencies.

Recognizes seven first responders injured in the line of duty, including Denver police officers, state patrol troopers, and county sheriff's deputies.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to first responder organizations, government officials, and numerous police departments, fire departments, sheriff's offices, and emergency medical services agencies throughout Colorado.
