Proclaims the week of May 15-21, 2016, as Police Week in Colorado to recognize peace officers' efforts in safeguarding citizens.

Designates May 15, 2016, as Peace Officers' Memorial Day to honor officers who made the supreme sacrifice or were disabled in the line of duty.

Honors 336 peace officers from Colorado who died in service dating back to 1869, listing names and affiliated law enforcement agencies for each year.

Calls upon all Colorado citizens and patriotic, civic, and educational organizations to observe Police Week and participate in the observance of Peace Officers' Memorial Day.

Directs copies of the resolution be sent to state officials, police organizations, and law enforcement leadership including the Governor, Colorado State Patrol, and various police associations.
